The Posey torso support is a quilted fabric support that fits around the chest and over the shoulders in a wheelchair. It is made by Tidi Products in size X-Large, model 3656XL. The reversible design lets you place the flap release in front or in back, depending on who will release it.
- Adds support around the chest and over the shoulders, made to help keep the user from leaning and sliding forward
- Reversible design: place the flap release in front for users who can release it themselves, or in the back for caregiver-assisted release
- Soft quilted fabric construction
- Hook-and-loop fasteners
- For more control of forward sliding, use the torso support together with a wedge cushion or a lap belt
- Extra extra large size, described as well suited to geri-chairs
