The Gibeck Trach-Vent+ heat and moisture exchanger from Teleflex is a straight, nonsterile HME made for tracheostomized or intubated, spontaneously breathing patients. It has a 15 M connection and a 10 mL dead space.

The Gibeck Trach-Vent+ is a heat and moisture exchanger, also called an HME, made by Teleflex. It is designed for tracheostomized or intubated patients who breathe on their own. It is made for both pediatric and adult patients.
- Designed specifically for tracheostomized or intubated, spontaneously breathing patients
- Made to add comfort by warming and humidifying the air a patient breathes in
- Humidified air keeps bodily fluids in more of a liquid state, which is why humidification matters for airway care
- Holder attaches to the tracheostomy or endotracheal tube, so the unit is easy to remove and replace during suctioning or change-out
- Made for use on both pediatric and adult patients
- Recommended for tidal volumes of 50 mL and above
- Moisture output: 32.42, Vt = 0.5 L (32.42 mg H₂O/L at VT 500 mL)
