The Teleflex QuickTrach is an emergency cricothyrotomy kit, a set used to make an airway opening through the neck in an emergency. It is sterile, disposable and comes preassembled, so it is ready to use. This kit is sized for adult patients.
- Kit components: 1 QuickTrach (sterile, with stopper), a 10 mm syringe, 1 connecting tube with a 15 mm adapter, 1 cushion neckband and a removable stainless steel cricothyrotomy needle
- Disposable, for single use
- Preassembled and ready to use
- Designed to give access for ventilation during acute respiratory distress with upper airway obstruction
- Conical needle tip creates the smallest necessary stoma and is designed to limit bleeding
- Plastic inner cannula, 4 mm ID
- Secured with a neckband
- Sterile
