The AirLife Heat and Moisture Exchanger is a hygroscopic condenser humidifier (HCH), a small device that captures a patient's exhaled heat and moisture and returns them in the inspired gas. This small, compact model is listed for adult, pediatric and neonatal users. It has a straight style, with no filter and no port.
