Parafilm M is a self-sealing, flexible sealing film, a thermoplastic wrap that clings to the item you cover. It is made for laboratory use on containers and objects with irregular surfaces. This StatLab Medical Products roll measures 2 inch x 125 foot.
- Covers test tubes, beakers, vials, petri dishes, flasks and other instruments and objects with irregular surfaces
- Works as an overwrap to further secure stoppers, lids and caps
- Works as a shelf or tray liner to keep bottles or instruments from slipping
- Flexible, self-sealing material clings around irregular shapes and surfaces
- Stretches more than 200% of its original length
- Resists many polar substances for up to 48 hours
- Odorless, colorless and semi-transparent covering
- Material composition and tight seal help limit moisture and volume loss
- Not recommended for use with chlorinated, non-polar aliphatic and aromatic solvents
- Film becomes soft and sticky at about 130 to 150° F
