The DermaFilm hydrocolloid dressing is a sterile, bordered dressing shaped to fit the sacrum, the area at the base of the spine. It has a film backing and is made of hydrocolloid and film. It can be used as a primary or secondary dressing on low exudating wounds, meaning wounds that produce little fluid.
- Gentle adhesive that adheres securely to the skin around the wound (periwound skin) and is made to minimize discomfort during removal
- Maintains balanced moisture levels and allows moisture vapor transmission
- Designed for prolonged wear, with comfort and mobility for the wearer
- Can be worn for several days, depending on wound condition and exudate levels
- Use as a primary or secondary dressing on low exudating wounds
- The DermaFilm range includes high density, thin and extra thin options, plus tailored shapes for the sacrum and for the heel and elbow areas
