The SAM Pelvic Sling II is an emergency pelvic belt, also called a pelvic binder, made by The Seaberg Company. It is built for use on the pelvis and closes with a buckle and a hook and loop strap. The standard size fits hips from 32 to 50 inches in circumference.
- Low-friction posterior slider, made to make transfers easier following severe trauma
- SAM auto stop buckle gives a tactile and audible click, so you know the belt is applied correctly
- Precisely engineered holes lock with the auto stop buckle for quick application and secure fastening
- Tapered design allows urinary catheterization, interventional radiology, external fixation and abdominal surgery without removing the belt
- All materials are radiolucent except the two stainless steel springs in the buckle, so X-rays and CT scans can be done without removing the belt
- Standard size fits hips from 32 to 50 inches in circumference
