The VanishPoint peripheral IV catheter from Retractable Technologies is a 20 gauge, 1-1/4 inch catheter with a built-in safety system. Once you activate it, the needle retracts, which keeps the contaminated needle out of view. It is sterile and made for facilities that want a retracting safety needle.
