Description / Quidel M300 - Solana® Influenza A+B Influenza Molecular Diagnostic Respiratory Test Kit - 1/Kit
The Solana Influenza A+B test kit from Quidel is a molecular diagnostic respiratory test kit for influenza A and influenza B. It is made for use with the Solana instrument, which reads the results. Each kit contains 48 tests.
- The assay has two main steps: specimen preparation, then amplification and detection of target sequences specific to influenza A and/or influenza B
- Detection uses isothermal Reverse Transcriptase - Helicase-Dependent Amplification (RT-HDA) with target-specific fluorescence probes, performed in the Solana instrument
- Results appear on the instrument touchscreen and can be saved to the instrument or printed
- Results can be sent to the laboratory information system and exported through one of the Solana's five USB ports
- Solana Influenza A+B is also supported by Virena
- Tests for influenza A and influenza B
