The Quidel QuickVue iFOB/FIT kit is a colorectal cancer screening sample collection and screening kit. It is a fecal occult blood test (iFOB or FIT) that uses a stool sample. Each kit holds 10 tests and is CLIA waived.
- Patient specimen collection kit includes a specimen collection tube, specimen collection paper with adhesive, specimen pouch, absorbent sleeve, return mailer and patient instructions
- Immunochemical test is specific to human hemoglobin, unlike Guaiac-based tests, which also detect dietary peroxidases from meat and uncooked fruits and vegetables
- All components are included in the kit, including internal controls
- Designed to be easy to use, with fewer procedural errors
