The SAM Arm Splint from Performance Health is a moldable splint, one you shape by hand to fit the limb. It has two layers of closed-cell foam around a flat aluminum core. You can cut it with ordinary scissors to match the size you need.
- Two layers of closed-cell foam and an aluminum interior can be cut with ordinary scissors to fit any size requirement
- Flat, O-temper aluminum inside the outer foam layers molds easily, so the splint suits a wide range of applications
- Closed-pore foam exterior can be cleaned and disinfected with bleach and water for reuse
- Medical professionals can take X-rays and CT scans without removing the splint from the limb
