PKU Periflex Junior Plus is an amino acid-based oral supplement, a powder formula that contains no phenylalanine. It is made for pediatric users ages 1 year and up with phenylketonuria (PKU). It can be given by mouth or by tube.

- Balanced mixture of all other essential and nonessential amino acids, plus carbohydrate, vitamins, minerals and trace elements
- Contains DHA (docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid), which is considered important for brain and eye development in children up to 24 months of age
