The North American Rescue C-A-T Combat Tourniquet is a tactical windlass tourniquet, a strap tightened by turning a rod, in rescue orange. It is used by both conventional and Special Operation forces. It has a single routing buckle and a nylon strap that is 37-1/2 inches long.
- Single routing buckle for faster application, effective slack removal and fewer windlass turns
- Single protocol application standard, which simplifies training
- Reinforced windlass rod with a larger diameter for added strength and aggressive ribbing for a better grip
- Bilateral windlass clip for a rapid windlass lock, plus a bilateral buttress for added strength
- Windlass strap in tactical gray, secured to the latch for constant contact, which keeps the windlass secure and gives you a place to write the application time
- Reinforced stabilization plate with a beveled contact bar
