The My Medic Wound Closure First Aid Kit is a portable kit packed in a compact red soft bag. Its supplies are grouped in color-coded modules, so you can find what you need quickly. The contents include wound cleaning supplies, gauze, closure products and surgical instruments.
- Compact, organized bag with My Medic's signature MOLLE (modular lightweight load-carrying equipment) and hook-and-loop features for easier carrying and customizing
- Many items are packed in color-coded modules, called mods, grouped by item type and by which components are likely to be needed together
- Color-coded modules make items faster to locate and make replenishing supplies less tedious
- Cleaning and prep: Super Wash saline solution, a clean and prep module with four antiseptic wipes, four hand sanitizers and an iodine prep pad
- Mini gauze module: two 2 x 2 inch nonadherent pads, two 2 x 2 inch gauze pads, two 4 x 4 inch gauze pads and two conforming gauze rolls
- One pair of disposable gloves
- Mini wound closure module: a pack of three Secure Strips and a tube of liquid skin
- Zzips two-pack with two Zzips devices and instructions for use
- Tape and sutures: 1 inch x 30 foot cloth tape, one 5.0 nylon suture and one 3.0 nylon suture
- Instruments: tweezer, straight hemostat, curved hemostat, needle pullers, surgical scissors, sharp/blunt scissors, scalpel handle and skin stapler
- Blades: three #10 scalpel blades and three #11 scalpel blades
