The Nellcor Adult Colorimetric CO2 Detector is an end-tidal CO2 detector, a device that reacts to carbon dioxide in exhaled breath. It is part of the Easy Cap II series from Medtronic MITG. It is made for use with endotracheal tubes on patients over 15 kg.
- Carbon dioxide detector that helps verify endotracheal tube placement
- Responds quickly to exhaled CO2
- Breath-to-breath response
- Gives continual visual feedback for up to two hours
- Internal volume (dead space): 25cc
- Resistance to flow: 3.0cm H20 ±1.0cm at 60L/min flow
