The Medtronic MITG Endo Catch Gold is a specimen retrieval system, a sterile device used for removal of tissue specimens. It pairs a long cylindrical tube with a polyurethane pouch that isolates and contains each specimen. Each box holds six systems.
- Used for removal of tissue specimens
- Single-use specimen pouch with a long cylindrical tube and a polyurethane pouch
- Pouch isolates and contains specimens, which minimizes spillage and intraoperative contamination
- Designed for introduction and use through all appropriately sized Covidien trocar sleeves
- Can be used with larger sized trocar sleeves when a converter is used
