Enfamil Pregestimil is a powder infant formula that comes in a 1-lb. can. It is made for infants from birth to 1 year and is given by mouth. Its fat blend includes MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides).
- 55% of the fat comes from MCT oil, a fat type that is more easily absorbed by babies with some GI problems
- Hypoallergenic and suitable for babies with lactose intolerance
- Contains DHA (docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid) and ARA, nutrients also found in breast milk
