The McKesson Sterile Half Drape Sheet is a general purpose drape made of soft, fluid-resistant SMS nonwoven fabric. It is used in the operating room and measures 60 inches wide x 44 inches long. It comes sterile and is not made with natural rubber latex.
- Helps protect patients and the clinical team from the transfer of microorganisms, fluids and particulate material in the operating room
- Made of 100% polypropylene SMS nonwoven fabric that is soft and fluid-resistant
- Three-layer SMS construction: spunbond, meltblown, spunbond
- Inner meltblown layer provides filtering, barrier and strength properties
- Spunbond outer layers resist strike-through, tears, punctures and abrasion
- Fabric is designed for fluid repellency to reduce strike-through of fluids such as alcohol and other prep solutions
- Low-linting fabric reduces particle generation, a known source of post-operative complications from bacterial transmission or foreign body contamination
