The McKesson Horizontal Spin Centrifuge is a benchtop unit with a six place horizontal rotor. It runs at a fixed speed of 3,500 RPM and is built for standard 2 to 12 mL tubes. Push button controls are easy to use with gloves on.
- Push button keypad, easy to operate while wearing gloves
- Six place horizontal spin rotor for standard 2 to 12 mL tubes
- Optional adapters are needed for tubes shorter than 100 mm in length
- Fixed speed of 3,500 RPM, with a G-Force (RCF) of 1777g
- Electronic timer from 1 to 99 minutes, with a beep signal at the end of the run
- Memorized time settings: the centrifuge remembers the last time setting when the unit is turned off
- Maintenance free brushless AC motor that runs very quietly
- Zero RPM lid latch protection: the lid cannot be opened until the unit stops spinning
- The centrifuge will not run unless the lid is properly closed
- Power switch with an indicator light that shows when the unit is powered on
- Horizontal rotor with 6 places
- Speed of separation: fixed at 3,500 RPM / 1,777xG RCF
- Not made with natural rubber latex
