McKesson Puracyn Plus Professional Wound Irrigation Solution is a wound cleanser, a solution used to clean and rinse wounds. It comes ready to use in a trigger spray bottle, so there is no mixing or diluting. It is used on acute and chronic dermal lesions, meaning skin wounds, and it is also used to moisten and lubricate absorbent wound dressings.
- Used for cleansing, irrigating, moistening and debriding to remove wound debris from acute and chronic dermal lesions
- Suited to partial or full thickness wounds, including 1st and 2nd degree burns, stage I to IV pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, stasis ulcers, abrasions and minor skin irritations, post-surgical wounds, and grafted and donor sites
- Also used to moisten and lubricate absorbent wound dressings
- Ready-to-use formula needs no mixing or diluting
- Trigger spray bottle for easy application
- Shelf life of up to 24 months
- Contains hypochlorous acid, a known antimicrobial, which serves as a preservative to inhibit the growth of a broad range of microorganisms, including staphylococcal species
