The McKesson Skin Barrier Half-Arc Strip is a pre-cut, pre-shaped strip with a curved half-arc shape. It helps hold the pouching system in place and covers the skin around the stoma, known as the peristomal skin. You can use it under the pouch or over it.

• Keeps the pouch secure and protects the peristomal skin
• Water-resistant surface with a gentle, highly absorbent hydrocolloid adhesive that soaks up exudate and can be worn when swimming, bathing and similar activities
• Pre-cut, pre-shaped strip with high-tack adhesion, made for easy application
• Curved half-arc shape that fits around the flange like a picture frame
• Can be placed directly on the skin as a barrier under the pouching system
• Can also be placed over the pouch to hold the system in place
