The McKesson Acrylic Adhesive with Border Foam Dressing is a foam dressing with an adhesive border, so it holds itself in place on the skin. It has an absorbent hydrocellular foam pad and a film outer layer. The dressing measures 6 x 6 inches and is supplied sterile.
- Highly conformable, and stays intact on the skin
- Acrylic adhesive border affixes securely to dry, intact skin
- Seals the wound margins to help keep exudate from leaking onto surrounding tissue, which lowers the risk of maceration (softening of the skin from moisture)
- Outer film layer is breathable, and also resists moisture and bacteria
- Absorbent inner pad made of hydrocellular foam
- Can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherent properties
