The PDS Plus suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one the body gradually absorbs over time, made of polydioxanone with Irgacare MP. It is a sterile, single-needle monofilament in size 1. Each box holds 12 sutures.

- Strength retention: 80% at 2 weeks, 70% at 4 weeks and 60% at 6 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 183 to 238 days
- Built for extended wound support, with a pliable feel for handling
