The Ethilon suture with needle from J & J Healthcare Systems is a nonabsorbable monofilament suture, a single smooth strand that does not dissolve in tissue. It is made of polyamide and comes sterile, double-armed, with an ophthalmic spatula needle. The model number is 9013G.
