The Ethilon nonabsorbable suture is a sterile nylon monofilament suture, a single strand thread that does not break down into the body's tissue the way absorbable types do. It comes with one 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting stainless steel needle attached. It is made by J & J Healthcare Systems for wound closure.
