The Rhino Rocket nasal packing is a compressed foam pack that comes with an applicator to help with insertion. It is made for epistaxis (nosebleed) management after trauma, nasal or sinus surgery. It is supplied sterile and non-impregnated.
- Used for epistaxis management after trauma, nasal or sinus surgery
- Gentle but firm mucosal compression for tamponade of anterior or middle segment epistaxis
- Applicator protects the foam from moisture, aids insertion and helps minimize blood containment concerns
- On contact with moisture, the foam absorbs and swells to six times its compressed diameter
- String attached for retention and easy removal
- Material: PVA Expandacell foam
