The Hartmann Sorbalgon Ag dressing is a silver alginate dressing made from calcium alginate. It is a sterile, white, square dressing that measures 6 x 6 inches. It is made for use on moderate to heavy draining wounds, both chronic and acute.
- Silver ions help protect the dressing itself from micro-organisms for up to 7 days
- Holds together wet or dry
- Forms a gel, which supports autolytic debridement (the body's own process of clearing away dead tissue)
- Highly absorbent
- Used on chronic or acute wounds with moderate to heavy drainage
- Size: 6 x 6 inches
- Material: calcium alginate
