The Hartmann Proximel Non-Border foam dressing is a 5 x 8 inch dressing without an adhesive border, shaped for heels. It is made of polyurethane foam with a silicone face, so it sits against the skin without a separate border. It comes sterile.
- 5 x 8 inch Proximel silicone foam dressing with no border, made for use under compression
- Tapered edge that keeps moisture in and lies gently around the wound
- Waterproof protective backing with high MVTR (moisture vapor transmission rate), smooth and comfortable, and a barrier to bacteria
- Absorbent polyurethane foam with strong fluid handling, adding comfort and cushioning protection
- Silicone oil and perforation technology spread wound exudate (fluid) quickly and evenly
- Gentle, secure silicone face that is designed to leave epidermal cells in place when removed
