Description / Globe Scientific 6137 - Globe Scientific® Tube Closure for Sample Tubes with External Threads - 1000/Pack
The Globe Scientific 6137 is a screw cap tube closure made for Globe Scientific sample tubes with external threads. It is made of polypropylene, the same material as the tubes, so the cap and tube expand at the same rate. The long skirt and fast thread let you open or seal the tube with one turn.
- Screw caps designed for use with Globe Scientific sample tubes
- Polypropylene (PP) caps have the same coefficient of expansion as the tubes
- Polypropylene inner lip and matching material help make a leakproof seal, even at changing temperatures
- Long skirt and super-fast thread design let you remove or seal the cap with a single turn
- O rings (also called washers) are included in the closures
- Tubes can be autoclaved at 121° C in an upright position with the caps loosened
- Supplied 1,000 tube closures to a case
