The Darco OrthoWedge post-op shoe is a protective shoe worn after foot surgery, sized for men who wear men's shoe sizes 12-1/2 to 14. It has an extra-large wedge sole and a square toe design. The ankle strap and removable forefoot closure hold the foot in place.
- Extra-large wedge sole that shifts body weight to the midfoot and heel
- Square toe design that acts as a bumper for the toes when K-wires are present, and gives a better left/right fit
- Ankle strap that seats the foot firmly in the shoe, to reduce heel slippage and friction
- Removable forefoot closure that keeps the foot secure and removes buckle pressure
- Removable insole with twice the padding of standard insoles, which can be modified as needed
- Insole can be taken out completely to make room for Darco's Peg Assist customizable off-loading insole
- Extra Large size fits men's shoe sizes 12-1/2 to 14
