The Conmed Huggables EKG snap electrode is an ECG monitoring electrode made for pediatric and neonatal patients. It uses a snap connector, a wet gel and a clear tape backing. The tape is clear, so you can see the skin under the electrode.
- Backing is made of clear NeoDerm tape
- Clear NeoDerm tape lets you visually check the baby's skin at all times
- Low chloride gel and a light adhesive coat weight are part of the design
- Huggables are made to hug the skin, which minimizes motion artifact
- Perforated tape allows skin ventilation and moisture evaporation, for added comfort
- Tab makes the electrode easy to apply and remove
- Wet gel formulation is gentle to the skin
