The Coloplast Folysil Foley catheter is an indwelling catheter, a catheter that stays in place with a balloon. It is made of 100% silicone and comes sterile. It has a 2-way design with a standard tip, in size 8 Fr.
- 100% silicone construction with a significantly larger lumen than latex catheters of the same Fr. size
- Larger lumen is designed to help reduce obstruction and inhibit encrustation
- Larger diameter eyelets allow for better drainage
- Atraumatic tip adds to ease of insertion
- Radiopaque stripe in a transparent shaft makes the catheter easy to detect on an X-ray
