The Dermacea sterile abdominal pad, also called an ABD pad, is a rectangular absorbent dressing made from nonwoven fluff. It is used as a primary dressing over incisions or as a secondary dressing over wounds with higher fluid output. Each pad is individually wrapped and sterile.
- Designed to protect and cushion stomach wounds
- Nonwoven material that is gentle against skin
- Soft outer layer and fluff interior absorb fluids and spread them throughout the pad
- Sealed edges on all sides keep the rectangular pad from producing lint
