The Cardinal Excilon AMD drain sponge is an antimicrobial drain sponge, a dressing placed around a drain site. It measures 4 x 4 inches, has 6 plies and arrives sterile. It is impregnated with PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide), an antiseptic.
