The Dermacea gauze sponge is a sterile, square cotton gauze pad, 2 x 2 inches, built with eight plies. It is made from USP Type VII gauze, a woven cotton material chosen for absorbency. Facilities and home caregivers can use it for wound prepping, packing, debriding and cleaning.
