The Cardinal Health Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy Drape is a sterile obstetrics and gynecology drape. It has a fenestration, or cut-out opening, for the abdomen and another for the perineum. It also includes a fluid control pouch, attached leggings and arm-board covers.
- Trapezoidal abdominal fenestration measuring 7 x 9 x 9 inches, placed for access to the abdominal area during surgery
- Perineal fenestration measuring 3 x 6 inches, with a flap and adhesive to hold the opening in place
- Attached leggings with tieback straps for coverage of the patient's legs
- Anesthesia screen with hook-and-loop cord-holding tabs to organize cords and tubes and keep equipment in place
- Fluid control pouch with a closed suction port and drawstring closure for managing fluid during procedures
- AAMI Level 4 protection; the drape is made of Tiburon surgical drape fabric
- Reinforcement zone measuring 12 x 19.25 x 16.75 inches, adding strength in critical areas
