The Cardinal Health sterile laparotomy drape is an abdominal drape for surgical procedures, supplied sterile. It is made of Tiburon fabric and has a fenestration, which is the opening that exposes the surgical area. An instrument pad, gusseted arm board covers and cord-holding tabs are built in.
- Tiburon fabric is a lower-linting fabric than other currently available surgical drape fabrics in laboratory testing
- AORN's 2003 Standards, Recommended Practices, and Guidelines state that surgical drapes should be as lint free as possible
