The Hydrofera BLUE Classic Heavy Drainage dressing is an antibacterial foam dressing, an absorbent pad placed directly over a wound. It is a heavy drainage dressing, made for wounds that produce a lot of fluid. It is nonadhesive, so you secure it separately.
- Absorbent external dressing for the local management of wounds, including pressure, venous stasis and arterial ulcers, donor sites, abrasions, lacerations, radiation burns, post-surgical incisions and other wounds caused by trauma
- Absorbs wound exudate (fluid) and inhibits the growth of bacteria in the dressing
- Physically binds endotoxins
- Draws bacteria-laden exudate up and away from the wound
- Absorbency is similar or superior to other highly absorptive dressings
- Heavy drainage dressing
