The Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S from BSN Medical is a gelling fiber wound dressing, a dressing whose fibers form a gel as they absorb. It is a sterile, white, square dressing that measures 4 x 4 inches. Either side can go against the wound, which keeps application simple for caregivers and clinical staff.
- Absorbs and retains fluid well, which helps protect the skin around the wound (the peri-wound skin)
- Ultrasonically heat sealed, with no binders or adhesives
- Either side of the dressing may be placed in contact with the wound
