The Gelocast Unna Boot is a medicated compression-style gauze bandage, known as an Unna's boot, made by BSN Medical. The gauze is impregnated with zinc oxide and calamine and is coated evenly so it is easy to handle. It is a 3 inch x 10 yard bandage in tan.
- Gelocast is the original Unna's boot, impregnated with zinc oxide and calamine
- Nonraveling gauze is uniformly coated, so it is easy to handle and mold to the limb
- Forms a semi-rigid cast once molded to the limb
- The cast immobilizes strains and sprains
- 100% cotton base does not unravel, which reduces wastage
- Each bandage is sealed in an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) bag to prolong shelf life
