The BD Insyte-N Autoguard is a peripheral IV catheter with a built-in needle shielding device, a safety feature you activate with a push of a button. It is a 24 gauge, 0.56 inch catheter with a winged hub. The catheter is made of BD Vialon polyurethane biomaterial.
