The BD PosiFlush IV flush solution is a prefilled saline syringe, so there is no need to prepare the syringe by hand. It holds a 3 mL fill and has a BD Luer-Lok tip. It is a prescription (Rx) product, sold as sodium chloride 0.9% injection for intravenous use.
