The BD SafetyGlide syringe with hypodermic needle pairs a 1 mL plastic syringe with a detachable stainless steel needle. The needle has a sliding safety feature, a shielding mechanism you slide over the needle after use. It is sterile and disposable, with a Luer slip tip, the smooth, push-on style of syringe tip.
