The BD MiniLoc port access kit is a sterile kit for accessing an implanted port. It pairs a 20 gauge, 3/4 inch stainless steel needle with 8 inch tubing and includes the supplies listed below. Facility buyers can check each spec; home caregivers can see what comes in the kit.
- 20 gauge needle, 0.75 inch (3/4 inch) long, with 8 inch tubing
- Tubing is not attached to a port (without port)
- Flow rate of 5 mL/sec
- Stainless steel needle with a sliding safety needle feature
- Winged hub with a plastic hub material
- Tubing is NonDEHP, PVC tubing
- Priming volume of 0.3 mL
- Sterile
- Kit includes a 0.9% Sodium Chloride 10 mL ampule, a ChloraPrep applicator (nontinted), and a transparent dressing
