The Bard Statlock Foley catheter secure is a device that holds a Foley catheter tube in place against the skin. A plastic retainer opens and closes, so the tube goes in and comes out easily. The foam base is latex-free and made to be soft on sensitive skin.
- Plastic retainer opens and closes for easy insertion and removal of the tube
- Foam base is latex-free and soft and gentle against sensitive skin
- Perspiration holes let moisture evaporate so the skin stays dry
- Printed directions are included to guide correct placement and removal of the device
- For gentle detachment, the directions call for rubbing alcohol
- Fits latex catheters 8 to 22 Fr. and silicone catheters 8 to 26 Fr.
- White pad around the retainer gives you a space to write, which supports accurate record keeping and maintenance
