The Bard sump style nasogastric suction tube has two channels, called a dual lumen design, with a vent lumen. It is made for removing gastric contents and is sized for adult patients. It is sterile and not made with natural rubber latex.
- Dual-lumen tube made to suction fluid and air from the stomach without damaging the gastric mucosa
- Clear view of fluids in the vent lumen, which shows when a suction eye is blocked
- Stripe-breaker eye helps you place the tube correctly
- Permanent markers at 18, 22, 26 and 30 inches from the distal tip
- 11 aspiration eyes
- X-ray opaque stripe
- Radiopaque, so the tube is visible on X-ray
