The ASEPT Drain Bag Kit is a sterile 2,000-mL drainage bag packaged with the supplies listed below. It is used for peritoneal drainage with the Asept peritoneal drainage catheter. It drains by gravity, not vacuum, so it is an economical alternative to a vacuum bottle.
- Economical alternative to a vacuum bottle that relies on gravity, not vacuum, for fluid drainage
- For peritoneal drainage only, and only with the Asept peritoneal drainage catheter
- 2,000-mL bag, packaged sterile
- Sold ten units to a case
- Extended drain line with the Asept connector attached to the end, for easy catheter connection and drainage
- Pull valve on the bottom of the bag for easy fluid release and evacuation
- Kit contents: 2000 mL bag and a CSR wrap containing three alcohol pads, two pairs of gloves, six 4 x 4 inch gauze pads, a foam catheter pad, a self-adhesive dressing and a blue emergency slide clamp
