The B. Braun Caresite extension set is a sterile IV extension set with a small bore tube and one needle-free port. It is 8 inches long and has a slide clamp to control flow. It suits facility and home buyers who need to confirm the details before ordering.
- Small bore extension set with a bonded Caresite Luer access device
- Contains PVC
- Made for use with power injectors, up to a maximum of 300 psi and a maximum flow rate of 10 mL/sec
- Does not contain natural rubber
- SPIN-LOCK connector is designed to help keep the IV catheter in place and is easy to use during connection. Once inserted, you can pull the collar back and move it forward to tighten
- Needle-free connector injection port, 1 port
- Slide clamp flow control
- Priming volume: 0.5 mL
- Tubing length: 8 inches, without filter
