The B. Braun Introcan Safety peripheral IV catheter is a short catheter placed in a peripheral vein. It is 24 gauge and 3/4 inch long, with a straight hub and a passive safety design. It is supplied sterile.

- Passive safety clip, with a sliding safety feature
- Removable vented flashplug
- Radiopaque stripe, so the catheter is radiopaque (visible under X-ray)
