The B. Braun Introcan Safety 3 is a closed IV catheter with a passive safety feature, meaning the needle shield works on its own as you withdraw the needle. It has a 20 gauge, 1-1/4 inch polyurethane catheter with a winged hub. It is supplied sterile.
